SAI signs MoU with India, BD, Poland

KARACHI, Feb 3: SITE Association of Industry (SAI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with India, Poland and Bangladesh in order to foster bilateral trade.

SAI Chairman Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig signed the accords with Deputy Secretary General of Confederation of Indian Industry S. Sen, Director Northern Chamber of Commerce Poland Wojohch Bazuk and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Sayeeful Islam.

According to the copy of MoU, the three countries agreed that there should be a growth in interaction and this accord should be mutually favourable. They agreed that there should be dissemination of information that could lead to further increase in mutual trade.

They also agreed to make efforts in setting up joint ventures, providing technical expertise and arrange visits by members of the three countries. Dr Baig said that Poland and Pakistan agreed to accept SITE Association recommendation for the issuance of visa to their countries.

They also agreed to organize solo country exhibition in their respective countries. The SAI chief will lead a delegation to India and Poland.
