The Sri Lankans will also play a three-day warm-up match from March 28-30 at a venue yet to be decided. "We chose the two venues that we believe will offer the best test cricket conditions at this time of year," Snedden said in a statement.

The series was originally scheduled to take place in January but was postponed because of the Asian tsunami. Sri Lankan tour schedule of New Zealand: March 28-30 - First-class warm-up match, TBA April 4-8 - 1st Test, Napier April 11-15 - 2nd Test, Wellington. -Reuters
