KARACHI: Another 30 teams make their way to final - Spelling Bee contest


KARACHI, Feb 2: Another 30 teams of students made their way to the Karachi final of the "Dawn in Education National Spelling Bee" contest as the District Central round concluded here on Wednesday.

The last of the district rounds of city schools, i.e. District West-Malir round, will be held on Feb 3. The teams selected after the district rounds will finally appear in the Karachi final competition scheduled for Feb 4 at Bahria Auditorium. The successful teams of the District Central contest are as follows:

9-11 AGE GROUP: Badri High School, Generations School, Ladybird Grammar School (Primary), Ladybird Grammar School (Block-J), Ladybird Grammar School (Block-N), Lamartine Academy, Shah Wilayat Public School, Sunbeams Grammar School, Usman Public School (Campus-III) and Usman Public School (Campus-VI).

12-14 AGE GROUP: Azeem Children Paradise, Beacon house School System (Cambridge), Dawn Public Secondary School, Generations School, Ladybird Grammar School (Block-J), Ladybird Grammar School (Block-N), North American Grammar School, Shah Wilayat Public School, Sunbeams Grammar School and Usman Public School (Campus-VI).

15-17 AGE GROUP: Badri High School, Dawn Public Secondary School, Generations School, Ladybird Grammar School (Block-J), Ladybird Grammar School (Block-N), Little Folks School, Metropolis Academy, Shah Wilayat Public School, Usman Public School (Campus-I) and Usman Public School (Campus-III).
