Sui tribunal summons doctor, nurse

KARACHI, Jan 31: The judicial tribunal inquiring into the alleged rape of a doctor at the Pakistan Petroleum Limited Hospital at Sui has summoned a medical officer and a nurse to record their statements on Feb 7.

The notices were issued by Justice Ali Ahmed Lashari of the Balochistan High Court, who is holding the inquiry at Quetta.

They were received at the Sindh High Court office for service to Dr Saima Siddiqui and assistant nurse Sakina of the PPL Hospital, where the incident allegedly occurred on the night between Jan 2 and 3. Both the hospital employees are residents of Karachi. The victim also resides in Karachi.
