DHAKA, Jan 30: A man was killed and scores of opposition leaders and workers, including two lawmakers, were injured in clashes on Sunday, the second day of the 60-hour countrywide general strike.
The opposition Awami League and its allies gave a call for strike, which began on Saturday, to protest against Thursday's grenade attack that killed an Awami League lawmaker, Shah A.M.S. Kibria.
