NEW DELHI, Jan 30: Talks with India are moving in the right direction for the normalization of relations between the two countries, Pakistan's High Commissioner here Aziz Ahmad Khan said on Sunday.
"It will gain momentum as time passes. Flexibility and commitment are needed to resolve all the issues, including the Kashmir dispute," he told newsmen at Chennai airport, according to reports received here.
Earlier, talking to newsmen during his stay in Hyderabad, the high commissioner said flexibility in the rigid stands of Pakistan and India had paved the way for harmony in their ties.
Both sides are working in eight areas to bring improvement in their bilateral relations, he said, adding that the second round of composite dialogue would yield a positive outcome.
Peace overtures taken by the two countries were rendering good results and there was no adverse impact on the dialogue process after the change of guard in New Delhi, rather it recorded improvement, he said.
In Hyderabad, Aziz Khan called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Raj Shekar Reddy, Governor Shushil Shende, and former chief minister Chandra Babu Naidu. The high commissioner is on a week-long visit to Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore. -APP
