Hearing in murder case adjourned

By Our Correspondent

HYDERABD, Jan 29: The Anti-Terrorism Court, Hyderabad, on Saturday adjourned hearing in the double murder case of former federal secretary Alam Baloch and his gunman against Asif Ali Zardari.

The court adjourned the hearing till March 19 on a plea of Mr Zardari's counsel who prayed the court to condone his absence as he had gone to Dubai to see his ailing mother-in-law, Begum Nusrat Bhutto.

The co-accused in the case, including Abdul Latif Ansari and Abdul Hafeez Ansari, attended the court.

The case was lodged by Raees Mohammad Ramzan Almani, manager of Mr Baloch, at the Qasimabad police station after Mr Baloch and his gunman, Imdad, were shot dead by three unidentified motorcyclists.
