FAISALABAD, Jan 28: Two unidentified outlaws were killed in an encounter with the police in Judgewala here on Friday night.

Two motorcyclists were signalled to stop at a picket by ASI Bashir Ahmed of Gulfishan Colony. But they opened fire on police and escaped from the scene.

Luckily no one hurt in the firing. Later, the policemen of Ghulam Muhammadabad, Jhang Bazaar and Gulberg police stations chased the outlaws. Near Judgewala graveyard, the outlaws again opened fire on the police which was returned. As a result, both the outlaws died on the spot.

The motorcycle was reportedly snatched by the outlaws on Jan 20 in the Gulberg police station area. Boy killed: A boy was killed while three others sustained injuries when the roof of a billiard club caved-in in Nasir Nagar here on Friday.

Reports said the boundary wall of an upper portion of a house adjacent to the billiard club collapsed due to light rain. The damaged wall fell on the roof of the club due to which it caved-in causing serious injuries to Shahid Ali, Munawar Hussain, Azhar Ahmed and club owner Maqbool.

The area people recovered them from the debris and rushed them to Allied Hospital. However, Shahid Ali died on way to hospital while the condition of three others was stated to be out of danger. The incident occurred in the limits of Batala Colony police station.
