HYDERABAD: LLB exams in Feb

HYDERABAD, Jan 28: The University of Sindh has announced that LLB-I, II and III annual examinations will be held from February 22, 2005.

The university has set up examination centres at Dr N. A. Baloch Model College, Sindh Law College and Jinnah Law College in Hyderabad.

The candidates from Pir Illahi Bux Law College, Dadu, Quaid-i-Azam Law College, Nawabshah, and Mirpurkhas Law College will appear in the examinations at their own colleges.

SAU: The Sindh Agriculture University has announced that admission test for masters and PhD programmes will be held on February 4 at 10am in the main auditorium of faculty of crop production.

SPSC: The Sindh Public Service Commission has announced results of test for recruitment to various posts in different departments held on December 23, 29 and 30.

CONVOCATION: Vice Chancellor of the University of Sindh Mazharul Haq Siddiqui has exhorted graduates of the Institute of Modern Sciences and Arts, Hyderabad, to work hard to achieve success and serve the society.

He was speaking at the annual convocation of the institute at the Allama I. I. Kazi hall of the university's Elsa Kazi campus here on Friday. He said that the students must remember that the society was looking to them for guidance.

He said that the institutes like the IMSA would have to work hard for raising standard of education. The VC said that basic objective of the IMSA was to provide quality education in private sector with low fee structure.

Chairman of the IMSA Syed Shafiq Hyder Musvi in his speech highlighted services of the institute. Principal of the institute Dr Zahoor Hussain Shah, Dr Qazi Khadim Hussain and others also expressed their views. Eighty-three students received their degrees of BBA, BCIT and MBA and silver and gold Medals from the vice-chancellor.
