QUETTA, Jan 27: The judicial tribunal constituted to probe the reported assault on a lady doctor in Sui, adjourned proceedings till Monday on applications of two former doctors of the Sui hospital and employee of the PPL to record their statements in the next hearing.

Justice Ahmed Khan Lashari, accepted submissions of Dr Muhammad Ali and Dr Usman here on Thursday to allow them some time to record their statements. The proceedings were adjourned till Jan 31.

Dr Ali and Dr Usman were running the hospital when the incident took place on the night of Jan 2 & 3. The incident triggered province-wide condemnation protest rallies.
