KOLKATA, Jan 27: Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly on Thursday said India would have home advantage in upcoming engagement against Pakistan even though both teams would be under same pressure in "tough series" ahead.

"When India and Pakistan play against each other, both teams are put under tremendous pressure. But, I think we will have slight advantage as it will be our home series," he told newsmen.

While declining to answer various queries about Pakistan tour, he said he only expected it to be a "tough series." "Its too early to say. There is still one-and-a-half month's time. We had played well on Pakistan tour. But we expect it to be a tough series here."

Ganguly parried questions about likely squad for Pakistan series, but reiterated that he hoped batting ace Sachin Tendulkar to be able to play against arch rivals.

"There is still time. I hope he (Tendulkar) will recover by then." Ganguly said he would take part in Duleep Trophy and Challenger Cup to get match practice ahead of series against Pakistan. -PPI
