Pakistan crush Sri Lanka

KARACHI, Jan 27: Pakistan maintained its unbeaten run in Asian junior team squash championship when they routed Sri Lanka 3-0 in the second round at Chennai, India.

According to the results provided on Thursday, Pakistan after beating Iran 3-0 in the first round earlier on Wednesday demolished Sri Lanka in the second round with the same margin.

Individual event winner Amir Atlas Khan took just 15 minutes to tame his opponent Roshane Nanayakkara in three straight sets. Amir dropped just one point in the first set and got the other two sets without dropping a single point.

Aaquib Hanif also faced little resistance against Yasir Isadeen on the way beating him in three straight sets. Eranga Alwis played better than his compatriots but not enough to overcomes inform Bilal Zaman who also won in straight sets.
