By Our Staff Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Jan 26: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, called on exiled PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif in Jeddah on Wednesday.

According to PML-N Information Secretary Siddiqul Farooque, the leaders discussed the prevailing political situation in the country and expressed concern over the worsening law and order situation, particularly in Balochistan.

They also discussed the possibility of cooperation between the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal and the Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy in the ongoing anti-government campaign.

Deputy parliamentary leader of the MMA in the National Assembly Hafiz Hussain Ahmed and acting PML-N parliamentary leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan were also present on the occasion. Sources said that Chaudhry Nisar would apprise the PPP leadership about the outcome of the meeting.
