PESHAWAR: Three wanted brothers arrested

PESHAWAR, Jan 25: Police arrested three alleged criminals wanted by the Mardan police in heinous crimes from Tehkal Payan area in the wee hours of Tuesday.

According to a press release, Senior Superintendent of Police (operation) Abid Ali constituted a police team after receiving an information about three brothers, who are wanted by Mardan police in robbery, murder and attempt murder cases.

The police went to the locality and arrested Hazrat Hussain, Noor Hussain and Javed Hussain, from a rented house in Tehkal Payan without any resistance. All the three brothers are residents of Nawagai village of Mohmand Agency.

The police claimed to have recovered a riffle, a gun and a pistol from the possession of three brothers. The three brothers were members of a robbers' gang and the police have started search for the remaining members of the criminals' group, the press release said.
