Suspects' bodies shifted to Peshawar

By Bureau

PESHAWAR, Jan 19: Bodies of two foreign suspects were airlifted to Peshawar from Wana, South Waziristan Agency, on Wednesday.

The two unidentified foreign militants were killed while they were reported to be planting an explosive device to target a leader of the local peace committee in Makin on Monday night.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release said that the bodies had been brought to Peshawar for post-mortem to establish their nationalities and other details.

Sources said that the military authorities shifted the bodies to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for autopsy. Tribesmen had recovered two anti-personnel mines, eight hand-grenades, two small machine guns and 235 rounds from the place of occurrence.
