QUETTA, Jan 19: Sui police have registered a case on Wednesday against Nawabzada Jamil Akbar Bugti and Mir Bramdagh Bugti, the son and grandson, respectively, of Jamhoori Watan Party chief Nawab Akbar Bugti , along with 84 others, including the notables of the Bugti tribe, in connection with the Sui firing incident.
The case has been registered on the report of Sobedar Mohammad Akram of the Defence Security Guard (DSG), police sources said. "Yes, the case has been registered against 86 people in connection with the Sui firing and rocket attacks case," a senior official of the district Dera Bugti administration told Dawn, adding that no arrest had so far been made.
The sources said that in the written report, the DSG official had nominated 36 elders and notables of the Bugti tribe, including a son and a grandson of Nawab Bugti, while 50 others are unidentified, official sources said.
The case has been registered under section 147/148/149, 302, 324, 427 and 345 of the explosives act. The Bugti tribe elders nominated in the case are Wadera Khan Mohammad Masori Bugti, Qamir Din Denari Bugti, Noor Mohammad, Elahi Bakhsh, Mohammad Bakhsh, Barani Khan Haji Vazi, Sher Mohammad, Jabla Khan, Bilawal Khan, Kakar, Ali Nawaz, Ali Mohammad, Dr Azim, Mohammad Naeem and Zahoor Ahmed.
Other people cited in the FIR are Mohammad Hanif, Mehboob Elahi, Shah Jamal, Rozi Khan, Dur Mohammad, Abdul Sattar, Ali Mohammad, Ata Mohammad, Saqa Khan, Murad Khan, Ali Murad Khalid, Sher Mohammad Shera and Gul Mohammad.
