DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Two killed in D.I. Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jan 16: Two people were killed in different incidents on Sunday. Zulfiqar Ali, son of Gul Nawaz, a resident of Haji Mora village, was shot dead by unknown people when he was standing in a street.

The assailants escaped. Afzal Hussain, a resident of Matala Shah village, was killed and his brother Hamidullah injured when Abdus Sattar and Karam Elahi allegedly opened fire on them.

Police have arrested a former provincial general secretary of the banned Sipah-i-Sahaba, Abdur Rauf Baloch, and another activist, Obaidur Rehman Baloch, in a murder case of one Afeef Abbas advocate, who was killed last month.

Police also arrested one Kamal Sherani in the murder case of one Yousaf Mehsud and seized a pistol and a motorcycle which were allegedly used in the incident.
