NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Jan 14: A man killed his wife on the pretext of karo-kari in Kirir Khoso village near Moro on Thursday night. Suhbat Khoso hit the head of his wife, Hajran alias Daahi, with a stick and then strangulated her in their house.

The Moro police, on the complaint of Jafar Khan, have registered a murder cases and arrested the accused. Meanwhile, a woman was killed and two were injured when a rickshaw overturned on the National Highway near here.

Mehlan Chandio, Sufran and Nazo were going to their village Jafar Ali Shah in a rickshaw which overturned in an attempt to overtake another rickshaw. As a result, Mehlan died on the spot and Sufran and Nazo were injured. They were taken to the Civil Hospital Naushahro Feroze where they were admitted.
