Relatives of held officers again move SC

ISLAMABAD, Jan 11: Relatives of the six army officers and a civilian being held by military authorities for over 18 months on Monday again moved the Supreme Court for early hearing in the detention matter accusing that the detained persons are allegedly being tortured to become approver.

A mother and wives of the six army officers and a civilian through fresh applications also asked the Chief Justice of Pakistan to intervene as gross violation of law and Constitution was being done by authorities.

The request also include early fixation of the case before a larger bench of the Supreme Court, production of the officers before the court and arranging meetings with family members.
