West Indies beaten by Australia A

HOBART, Jan 9: The West Indies lost their last seven wickets for 34 as they went down to Australia A without their skipper Brian Lara in their one-day cricket match at Bellerive Oval here on Sunday.

A day after Lara scored a majestic unbeaten 116 in Saturday's first match won by four wickets, the Caribbean tourists went down by 51 runs to the second-string Australians. The West Indies were travelling comfortably towards their second win in as many days at 158 for three, chasing 244 runs for victory.
