PPP asks govt to abolish NAB

By Our Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Jan 9: The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has demanded the government end political victimization in the country and abolish the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

In a statement, MNA Naheed Khan, the political secretary to party Chairperson Benazir Bhutto, said NAB was being used to harass democratic forces, especially the PPP.

She said recently the opposition members of the upper house had asked chairman NAB to appear before the Senate committee so that accusation of wrong information provided on the floor of the house could be investigated.
