SHIKARPUR, Jan 8: A man, his mother and a 13-year old girl were killed and two other women were seriously injured after a man opened fire on them with a Klashnikov rifle, police said on Saturday.

Kashoo Malik was killed after his house was attacked by Tamachi Malik, who suspected his wife, Ms Rashidah, of having an extramarital affair with him. He was accompanied by four other persons. Kashoo Malik was the step-nephew of the attacker.

The indiscriminate firing also killed Kashoo Malik's mother, Ms Begum, and 13-year-old Sajidah. Ms Daadi Malik and Ms Kashmirah were critically injured in the incident.

Lakhi police have registered a case against Tamachi Malik and seven others on the complaint of Raban Malik, father of Ms Kashmirah.
