PM to visit POF on Monday

TAXILA, Jan 6: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz is scheduled to visit Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) Wah Cantonment on Monday. Mr Aziz is undertaking the visit on the invitation of Minister for Labour and Manpower Ghulam Sarwar Khan.

The residents of Taxila and Wah Cantonment, especially POF workers, have pinned high hopes with the visit of the prime minister.

According to sources, the prime minister will announce setting up of a labour colony, a university, hospital for labourers and a relief package for the employees of Pakistan Ordnance Factories. Besides, he will also announce development package for Wah Cantonment.

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will attend a luncheon which will be hosted in his honour by Minister for Labour and Manpower Ghulam Sarwar Khan and PML Wah Cantonment chapter president Malik Masood Akbar.
