ISLAMABAD, Jan 4: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Tuesday warned cellular phone companies to improve their quality of service by January 15 to avert legal action.
The warning was issued to the managements of major GSM cell phone companies in view of growing complaints against them. An announcement said the authority had taken strong exception to the problems being faced by cell phone users in the shape of congestion, connection errors, frequent call drops and excessive and unjustified billing.
