SAHIWAL, Jan 3: The Mepco has started day and night load shedding on the pretext of shutdown in Sahiwal division. At least two hours shutdown is being conducted in the day time and one hour between dusk and dawn.

This so-called shutdown is clearly in violation of the orders of Federal Water and Power Minister Liaquat Jatoi.

The minister had assured during a television programme that there would be no load shedding and load management in the future. The people have demanded that the federal water and power minister should quit his office for failure to get implemented his orders.
