ISLAMABAD, Dec 29: Eleven Pakistani pilgrims have died in Saudi Arabia since Dec 15, the directorate general of Haj announced here on Wednesday. A press release issued here said that five pilgrims died in Makkah and six in Madinah.
The deaths were natural. The Pakistan Haj mission made arrangements for their burial in the holy cities.
Those who died were: Mohammad Sadiq, son of Fazal Karim, resident of Mandi Bahuddin (passport No-132730); Iftikhar Begum, wife of Khairuddin, resident of Lahore (passport No-427960); Mohammad Munir, son of Ali Mohammad, resident of Rawalpindi (passport No-710804); Mohammad Qadir, son of Ghulam Qadir, resident of Mingora (Swat) (passport No-343238); Karam Dad, son of Noor Dad, resident of Kharian (passport No-243031); Mohammad Yousaf, son of Karam Dad, resident of Sargodha (passport No-421233); Janat, wife of Khan Mohammad, resident of Dera Ghazi Khan (passport No-400198); Yaqoote Begum, wife Qadir Ali, resident of North Karachi; Mohammad Saddique, son of Mohammad Hussain, resident of Rawlakot (AJK) (passport No-336103); Waqar Ahmed, son of Rahman Bakhsh, resident of Central Karachi (passport No-751507); and Ghulam Fatima Chaudhry, whose passport number and others details were not mentioned.
