LAHORE, Dec 27: MMA President Qazi Husain Ahmed on Monday invited ARD chairman Makhdoom Amin Fahim to an informal meeting in Islamabad on Dec 30, ARD sources said on Monday.

It is said that before finalizing the programme, Mr Amin Fahim will hold discussions with PML-N leaders Raja Zafarul Haq and Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. Sources close to Mr Fahim say that the ARD is willing to join hands with the MMA provided the latter is serious in its attitude.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the heads of the ARD parties will be held in Sukkur on Jan 2. Earlier, it was scheduled to be held in Karachi on Jan 1. It is said that the date has been changed for the convenience of the ARD leaders. The alliance will also hold a public meeting in Sukkur on Jan 2.
