KARACHI, Dec 27: The University of Karachi has shifted the exam centres of some candidates appearing in BCom parts I and II annual examinations 2004 to the Department of Physics.
According to a KU notification on Monday, the exam centre of 310 candidates with seat Nos from 473501 to 473810 and 264 candidates with seat Nos from 76901 to 77164 of BCom Part-I, and 22 candidates with seat Nos from 70580 to 70601 and 264 candidates with seat Nos from 76901 to 77164 of BCom Part-II have been shifted to the Department of Physics KU from the Department of Special Education, Shaikh Zayed Islamic Research Centre, KU.
Similarly, the exam centres of candidates with seat Nos from 473811 onwards, from seat Nos 77165 onwards of BCom Part-I, and those with seat Nos from 70602 onwards and from seat Nos 77165 onwards of BCom Part-II have also been shifted to the Physics Department.
The notification; however, said that the exam centre of 400 candidates of BCom Part-I having seat Nos from 473101 to 473500 will remain the Department of Physics. Meanwhile, the external candidates of BCom (parts I, II) and both parts (new course) annual examinations 2004 who have yet to receive their admit cards, have been directed to contact the External Unit Examinations Department on Dec 27 and 29 for duplicate admit cards.
They should bring along their original registration card, original receipt of exam fee, NIC, last marks sheet and two attested photographs for the purpose.
MASTER'S ADMISSIONS: The Director of the Admission Committee of the varsity, Dr Mohammad Ishaq, has announced that candidates whose names had appeared in the Master's admission lists, but had yet to deposit the required fees, should complete the admission formalities latest by December 28. Admission would be accepted at the admission office at the administration building of the varsity from 9 am to 1 pm, said a KU notification. - PPI
