NAWABSHAH: Quaid-i-Azam's services eulogized

By Our Correspondent

NAWABSHAH, Dec 25: Pakistan Muslim League leaders Syed Zahid Hussain Shah and Rao Sajid Ali have said Pakistan had come into being due to sincere struggle of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

Talking to party workers here on Saturday, they called upon people of the country to work hard and emulate the great leader.

They observed that the time was not far when Pakistan would be counted among developed nations.

PML leader Syed G.M. Shah told a gathering at the Syed House that the independence had been achieved following struggle by Muslim leaders, led by the Quaid-i-Azam.

CHARAS SEIZED: The Nawabshah excise police on Saturday recovered 10 kilograms of charas, two Kalashnikovs and one pistol from a truck and arrested two persons.

Police arrested driver Qayyum and Surat Khan, both residents of Peshawar, and registered cases against them.
