KARACHI, Dec 24: A three-day exhibition titled "All about lifestyles" got under way at the Expo Centre on Friday afternoon. At least 144 companies are taking part in the exhibition organized by the Dawn Group of Newspapers. The exhibition is coming from Islamabad and Lahore.

One of the organizers said the exhibitors had set up 165 stalls in the four halls of the Expo Centre. She said the exhibition began after the Friday prayers, adding that on Saturday and Sunday it would be open to the public (families only) from 11am to 10pm.

She said a food street had been established outside the halls where at least 30 vendors were selling all manner of food. She said the pavilions put up by Images and Books and Authors were attracting a large number of visitors. She added that FM89 was also drawing large crowds.

She said children gravitated towards the pavilion put up by Young World. In the atrium, she said, back numbers of Dawn from 1948 had been put on display. She added that posters along the corridors of the Expo Centre were also attracting visitors.
