By Correspondent

PESHAWAR, Dec 23: Federal Minister for Health Naseer Mohammad Khan has said that a bill to ban sale of human organs will be tabled in the next session of the National Assembly to stop this unethical and illegal business in the country.

Speaking at a meeting of the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry here on Thursday, the minister said the matter was thoroughly discussed in the previous session of the assembly and a consensus was evolved to make a proper legislation to stop this illegal trade.

He said the sale of human organs had become a global issue and many countries had expressed their concern over it. He said usually the poor fall prey to this illegal business as they resorted to selling their body parts for want of money. However, the minister said, the government would take every possible step to discourage sale of human organs in the country.
