By Our Correspondent

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Dec 23: A delegation of Indian Sindhi writers, poets and intellectuals, led by Suresh A. Keswani, member of the Rajya Sabha and vice-chairman of the Sindhi Academy, New Delhi, arrived here on Thursday and visited a centuries-old Hindu temple in the city.

The delegation, which comprises 34 men and seven women, was warmly welcomed by the people. The members of the delegation visited an old temple in Shahi Bazaar, Naushahro Feroze, and received Prasad (consecrate food) and Ashirvad (blessings) from Baba Ram Das.

They also went to the Otaq (guest house) of the writer and the former vice chancellor of the Shah Latif University, Hameed Sindhi. Speaking on the occasion, Suresh A. Keswani thanked the people of Sindh for their warm welcome.

Hameed Sindhi suggested exchange of Sindhi books and reduction in postal charges to enable readers to purchase Sindhi books published in the two countries. Sikandar Khushik and others were also present on the occasion. The Indian delegation then left for Khahi town in Bhirya taluka.
