Gwadar land transfer ban lifted

QUETTA, Dec 22: The government has decided to lift a ban on transfer of land ownership rights in Gwadar. A statement issued on Wednesday said the decision would also apply to the Sanghar housing scheme with immediate effect and the Balochistan Board of Revenue would soon issue a notification in this regard.

The decision was taken at a meeting attended by Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani, Chief Minister Jam Muhammad Yusuf, Quetta Corps Commander Lt-Gen Rab Nawaz and other officials.
