COLOMBO, Dec 22: Police announced a reward of 20 million Sri Lankan rupees on Wednesday for information leading to arrest of the main culprit in the grenade attack that killed two persons and injured several others during a concert by an Indian troupe led by superstar Shah Rukh Khan in Colombo on December 11.

Days after the public display of the sketches of two suspects wanted in connection with the attack, an official said the police had gathered important information and were hoping for a breakthrough soon.

Meanwhile, six people arrested for allegedly damaging private property during protests before the concert were produced before a magistrate and one of them was remanded and five were granted bail.
