PML-N MPA joins ruling party
LAHORE, Dec 16: PML-N MPA Ms Rehana Jamil (PP-145) joined the ruling PML after meeting Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi here on Thursday.
She expressed her full confidence in the leadership of PML President Chaudhry Shujaat Husain and the chief minister. Population Welfare Minister Nasim Lodhi was also present on the occasion.
The chief minister said the PML was gaining popularity because of the implementation of its government's reform-based agenda. Leaders and members of other parties were also joining it for the same reason, he said.
He said the PML was promoting the culture of reconciliation, unity and fraternity in the country and that's why its network was expanding day by day. The chief minister welcomed all those joining the party and said they would get the same status as was being enjoyed by the old comrades.
Ms Rehana said the ruling party was attaining national objectives, promoting democracy and speeding up the process of development in the country.
