By Correspondent

TOBA TEK SINGH, Dec 14: Gojra city police have detained 40 youth of the town to interrogate them into the alleged rape of five primary schoolgirls. The minor girls were kidnapped and assaulted by unknown people in five different cases in November.

An investigation team has been set up by the DPO consisting of Gojra ASP, Gojra city police SHO, Sadar police SHO and Moongi police post head.

The DPO also suspended on Tuesday Gojra city police SI Muhammad Asghar for showing negligence in the case. He also ordered the police to include section 7 of the Anti Terrorism Act in the FIR against already arrested accused in two rape cases of minor girls.
