KARACHI, Dec 9: The youth wings of various religious and political parties have condemned critical remarks made against the two-nation theory and vowed to hold seminars, rallies and demonstrations in the coming days
for protection of the country's Islamic identity.
Addressing a joint press conference at the Karachi Press Club (KPC) on Thursday, presidents of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Youth Wing Sindh, Anwar Dhallun, Shabab-i-Milli Karachi Syed Salahuddin and Anjuman-i-Naujawanan-i-Islam (ANI) Pakistan Shariq Athar alleged that some elements were trying to destabilize Pakistan by criticizing its ideology.
They said Quaid-i-Azam, Allama Iqbal and other Muslim leaders of the subcontinent had initiated their struggle after realizing that Hindus and Muslims were two separate nations with distinct civilizations, ways of living, traditions and customs.
"It is the responsibility of the youth to spread the message of the great struggle waged for a Muslim nation in the subcontinent. The new generation should read out about the Pakistan movement and play their role in the development and prosperity of the country," the leaders added. - PPI
