QUETTA, Dec 6: The centre will allocate Rs3 billion and the Balochistan government will allot land free of cost to establish a labour city in Gwadar, where 2,000 houses , a hospital and a school will be constructed for workers and fishermen, a meeting presided over by Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yusuf was told on Monday.

The provincial labour and manpower secretary, briefing the meeting held to review the progress on projects being carried out with the workers' welfare funds in the province, said steps had been initiated to establish the labour city.
