ISLAMABAD, Dec 2: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Thursday said his upcoming visit to China would provide another opportunity to both the countries to come more closer.

He was talking to the Chinese ambassador, Zhang Chunxiang, who called on him at the Prime Minister House.

Mr Aziz said Pakistan had cultural, social, economic and trade relations with China and the cooperation would be further strengthened and expanded in other fields as well.

Meanwhile, talking to a delegation of Chitral led by MNA Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali, the prime minister said Chitral had a lot of potential for tourism because of its landscape and peace.

The prime minister emphasized that improved image of Pakistan, because of the enlightened moderation, would bring increased number of tourists to Chitral and Northern Areas. Tourism would generate economic activities and employment which would raise the standard of living of the inhabitants of those areas.

The government, he said, was taking measures for the construction of Lowari Tunnel to provide passage of transportation during sever winter and facilitate people of Chitral to make development.
