MITHI, Dec 1: The Diplo police have registered a case under section 10/3 of the Zina Hudood Ordinance on the complaint of a resident of Vingar village who has alleged that his minor daughter was raped by a Thakur on Tuesday.

According to the FIR, 10-year-old Soomri, daughter of Ramzan, was grazing goats in a field when a man from Motadio village used force and assaulted her. Her younger brother ran to the village and informed their relatives about the incident.

When they reached the field, they found Soomri unconscious with blood stains on her clothes. They took the girl to the Civil Hospital Mithi for medical check-up and she is still there.
