GUJRANWALA: Mother of 4 killed by husband

GUJRANWALA, Nov 30: A mother of four children was stabbed to death by her husband over a family feud in Baghbanpura here on Tuesday.

Reports said Sajida Bibi went to her parents' house after quarrelling with her in-laws. When her husband Ashraf went there to bring her back, she refused to go with him. On this he attacked her with a knife killing her on the spot.

FIRE: A washing machine manufacturing factory caught fire here on Tuesday at Rawalpindi Bypass Intersection as a result two workers sustained burn injuries and a number of machines and other equipment reduced to ashes.

Reports said fire broke out at the factory of Muhammad Ramzan due to short circuit. He rang up fire fighters who could not reach the spot. In the meantime, the workers and people of the area extinguished the fire after two-hour efforts. Muhammad Afzal and Muhammad Shafqat were rushed to the local civil hospital in a critical condition. The estimate of the loss was being worked out.
