Indian soldier kills seven colleagues


SRINAGAR, Nov 28: An Indian soldier killed seven of his colleagues inside a camp in occupied Kashmir on Sunday before being shot dead himself, while freedom fighters shot dead four people, including three former Kashmiri fighters, police said.

The trooper turned his gun on his colleagues at 12:40am (0710 GMT) in northern Baramulla town, 55 kilometres north of Srinagar. Police said the constable from India's paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force opened fire on his colleagues following an altercation. -AFP
