KARACHI: Recreational spots' development urged


KARACHI, Nov 28: The Chief Controller of Karachi Building Control Authority, A.S. Nasir, has said that timely development of recreational spots and their renovation will, on the one hand, provide recreational facilities to citizens and help eliminate encroachment on the other.

He was speaking as chief guest at the inauguration of Kehkashan Children Park at Clifton along with Saddar Town Nazim Farooq Fariya. TMO Saddar Raza Abbas Rizvi, OSD KBCA Rauf Akhtar Farooqi and Town Officer Shabbir Ahmed Bhurgari were also present.

Farooq Fariya said that Saddar Town was carrying out development works in all the union councils on equal basis and without any discrimination with the available resources.

He announced that coconut plants as well as flowery saplings of various kinds will be planted in the town in an effort to beautify the town. Besides, he said, the work on renovation and beautification of various roads, parks, roundabouts and green belts was going on. --APP
