KARACHI: Three die in accidents

KARACHI, Nov 27: Three people died in various road and train accidents in various parts of the city on Saturday. A motorcyclist died after he was run over by a truck near Ghani Chowrangi here in Pak Colony police limits.

Police said that Rafiq, 60, was on his motorbike when a truck (ZBT-1191) knocked him down. The victim died on the spot and the body was shifted to a hospital for autopsy. Police arrested the driver Bismillah Khan and impounded the vehicle.

An unknown vehicle hit an unidentified man in his mid twenties on Korangi Road near Qayyumabad roundabout in Zaman Town police limits. The man was taken to a private hospital where he died. His body was later shifted to the JPMC.

In another accident, Rauf Ahmed Farooqui, 44, died after being hit by Allama Iqbal Express near Drigh Colony railway station.
