ISLAMABAD, Nov 25: Pakistan Telecommunication Company (PTCL) has termed speculations about management baseless and said these reflected desperate efforts of vested interests to dent the image of the company.
Reacting to a news item carried in a section of the press linking the management change with the privatization process, the company spokesman regretted that high officials had been quoted unscrupulously in this regard.
The present PTCL management enjoyed the confidence of the government and there was no proposal to change it at a time when the privatization of the company was on the cards, he said.
