Nine die as trailer rams into wagon

SADIQABAD, Nov 18: Nine people were killed and as many injured in a road accident on the National Highway at Trinda Mohammad Pinnah by-pass, about 100km off here, on Thursday.

The district police officer, Rahim Yar Khan, said a wagon (MNX-2845) coming to Sadiqabad from Alipur was stuck in heavy traffic at the by-pass when a trailer (TLA-857) ram into it. Nine wagon passengers were killed and nine others suffered injuries.

They were taken to the Rural Health Centre, Trinda Muhammad Pinnah.

The dead were identified as Ms Sakina, Ms Mansab, Ms Wasso, Kashif, Ghulam Nabi, Lal Ahmed, Rafiq Ahmed, wagon driver Irfan Ahmed and Peer Bakhsh.-APP
