KARACHI, Nov 16: Parliamentary leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement in the National Assembly Dr Farooq Sattar has said that his party is striving for peace, brotherhood and prosperity not only in the country but in the whole region.

Referring to the India visit of the MQM chief Altaf Hussain, he said the visit would bring positive changes in South Asia. In particular, he said, it would help improve the relations between the two neighbouring countries.

Dr Farooq Sattar was speaking at an Eid Milan party organized by the Tehrik Awam Ahl-i-Sunnat in Kharadar on Monday evening.

Former federal minister Haji Hanif Tayyab, speaking on the occasion, said that a solution to the Kashmir dispute should be based on the will of Kashmiri people and in accordance with the relevant UN resolutions.-PPI
