KARACHI, Nov 16: The process for admission to Honours, Bachelors of Science (Agriculture) and Pharm D programmes at the University of Karachi will commence on November 18 with the sale of forms and prospectuses at 11 designated bank branches.

Forms would be sold and accepted at UBL branches till November 27. The price of the admission booklet and forms has been fixed at Rs300.

Admission to over 41 departments of the Science, Arts, Commerce, Islamic Studies and Pharmacy faculties would be made purely on merit basis, ie marks secured by students in their respective qualifying examinations. The merit list of students selected for admissions would be notified on Dec 18.

In addition to the merit based system, the varsity has got entry test systems for admissions to the departments of Business Administration, Computer Science, Public administration and Visual Studies. The schedules for their entry tests are advertised separately by the respective departments.
