SAHIWAL, Nov 16: Six people, including three friends, were killed and 17 others injured in separate road accidents here during Eid days.

Three friends, Obaidullah, Akhtar Nawaz and Siddique, were killed when their motorcycle fell into a roadside ditch on the Faisalabad-Sahiwal Road. They were going to Tandlianwala.

Ghulam Mohammad and Sakeena were killed and 13 others injured when a tractor-trolley overturned on the Sahiwal-Pakpattan Road.

Bashir was hit and killed by a motorcycle-rickshaw on the Chichawatni-Burewala Road. Four rickshaw passengers also sustained injuries.

LOOTED: Dacoits took away cash, gold ornaments and valuables in separate incidents here on Eid day.

Four armed men entered the house of Barkat Ali in N-Block of Farid Town. On resistance, they injured Barkat and his wife and decamped with cash and ornaments.

In Chak 70/4-R, eight dacoits entered the house of schoolteacher Allah Ditta and fled after looting cash and valuables.
