13 killed in accident

JACOBABAD/SUKKUR, Nov 11: An accident on the National Highway between Kandhkot and Ghauspur left 13 people dead and 12 others injured on Thursday evening.

Barkat Ghunjio, Shabbir Bhayo, Dost Ali Mugheri, Rafiq Ahmad, Murad Ali Jafri, Abdul Hakeem, Abdul Sattar Mirani, children Haji Jafri and Manzoor Jafri and four unidentified persons were killed in the head-on collision between a passenger wagon and a Mansehra-bound bus.

Eight of the injured were identified as Abdul Sattar Ghunjio, Ghulam Ali Mirani, Zulfiqar Bhayo, Manthar Bajkani, Ghulam Akbar, Noor Ahmad Lolai, Mohammad Bux and Mumtaz Bajkani.

Except for Manthar Bajkani, who was taken to a Rahim Yar Khan hospital, all the injured were admitted to hospitals in Kandhkot and Kashmor.
